Beverley Matchette-Downes graduated in 2007 with a degree in Fine Art (2:1) specialising in Painting at Buckinghamshire New University.  She then went on to complete a Masters’ Degree in Printmaking to expand her Fine Art skills portfolio and achieved this in 2010 (Distinction).  
She has since acquired her own press and largely because of this Printmaking continues to dominate her practice.  Since graduation she has explored many other printmaking techniques, to include the production of Lithographs, Monoprints and Collographs.  She continues to find inspiration in the real world but likes to abstract the figurative in her work. She exhibits and sells her work regularly at Galleries locally and in London and often participates in County Open Studio events.  She has recently organised and shown work in two very successful ‘pop-up’ galleries in Marlow, her home town.  She has been shortlisted several times for the RA Summer Exhibition and this year had a piece selected for the prestigious ‘Discerning Eye’ exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. 
Beverley is very excited to become part of this wonderful new development at Turville Studios with a very talented group of artists and is looking forward to working in such a beautiful environment.
