Marie has drawn, painted and ‘made’ all her life and, after initially following a scientific path, she studied fine art as a ‘mature student’ graduating in 2002 with First Class Hons.

Since then she has focused her practice on oil painting, specialising in still life but she also enjoys

painting local and London landscapes.

Her work is contemporary realism rooted in the tradition of representational painting and her

still lives often have a bit of a twist!

​

Marie’s work is exhibited and sold widely in London, the UK and internationally and she has had work accepted for the

Royal Academy Summer exhibition in 2023 & 2024.

She is also a member of Oxford Art Society.

​

Marie enjoys taking part in the group open days and events at the studios and otherwise is open by appointment, so please get in touch if you’d like to come for a no obligation visit.
